Un service implacable, serveurs très sympa. Une qualité des plats au top pour un prix très raisonnable !
Très bonnes frites croustillantes ce qui est de plus en plus rare dans les bistrots !
Loved the delicious food, loved the staff, loved the atmosphere, everything about this restaurant is perfect, also the prices! Listed on my ‘favorites in Paris’-list on google maps now.
We went for dinner on a Sunday evening and it was quite quiet. The Bistrot itself is completely beautiful and very typical of it's type, lovely lighting, traditional decor and the staff were attentive and charming. However we had a mixed experience, food wise. My dinner friend had to return her Marguerita cocktail as it was far too sour, which wasn't a great start. The baked Camembert starter was good, and my boeuf bourguignonne was excellent and typically rustic, but the steak was mostly inedible for the toughness and lack of flavour which was not good. We didn't want to make a fuss about it, but when the waiter cleared the plates he didn't question why the steak was uneaten, that was their chance to make amends and they didn't try! My creme brulee was devine, but the profiteroles had been frozen and the cream inside still was when brought to the table and the hot sauce added, so they were sent back. By then we were done. I really wanted to love the place, and perhaps, as my own food was great, I could have given a good review, especially on account of the staff, but I was really disappointed. Perhaps Sunday evening is not a great night to go.
